Assembly 2013 Field Trip
Assembly host RDLN Leader and Issues Coordinator Shirley McClain (standing) prepared the group
for the field trip with a slide show about her background in tobacco country
and statewide work with the North Carolina Hunger Network
RDLN Network members visited the Fuquay Varina CDC, where Assembly host Shirley McClain
is on the Board. The group has rented out space for a child care center, developed housing on site,
and hopes to renovate a building for community theater and other activities.
